Testing the waters
Prof. Kelleher’s water temperature research will have important implications for aquatic and riverine habitat, hydrology, and human recreation.
Lafayette Engineering recognizes the importance of addressing environmental challenges. As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our ecological footprint, the division participates in Lafayette’s Sustainable Office Program aimed at fostering environmentally responsible practices. This voluntary self-guided program uses a checklist of sustainability-focused actions to track eco-friendly practices involved in day-to-day workplace operations.
The completed scorecard indicates the practices currently in place within Accopian Engineering Center staff spaces, along with additional actions that can be incorporated in the future.
We are proud to have achieved silver level status in the program, and will continue to evaluate and improve practices to advance our sustainability efforts.
Please pitch in and help recycle in the following locations in Acopian Engineering Center
