Lafayette Engineering is deeply committed to inclusion, equity, and justice. Emphasizing the values of diversity and mutual respect, the Division seeks to actively cultivate an inclusive ecosystem in which all students, faculty, and staff feel welcome and supported. All members of the community are urged to hold themselves accountable for inclusive practices and actively pursue an equitable and just ecosystem.

Highlights

Ten years ago Lafayette Engineering began making sustained efforts to move toward gender parity, and today is one of the most gender diverse engineering programs in the country. This serves as inspiration and positive evidence that with its steadfast commitment, the College can and will be successful in increasing diversity with respect to BIPOC.
