The purpose of the X-Trained Engineering Initiative (Cross-Trained) is to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in students. Unlike a skill-set that provides students with an ability to behave in a certain way or perform a particular task, a mindset is an attitude, a motivation, and/or a disposition.

Whether it's tutoring local children in math or helping villagers in Honduras build a clean water system, Lafayette students are passionate about making a difference in communities here and afar.
